Get to know… Intern Isabella Saporito

Isabella joined our team in October. We have enjoyed her personal experiences with people on the autism spectrum and wanted you to have a chance to get to know her as she will be sharing with you regularly in the coming months.

Let’s meet Isabella…

Ever since I was 7 years old, autism has played a large role in my life. My next door neighbor, Douglas, was my first encounter with autism. Throughout the years as I babysat him and spent time with his family, I got the chance to learn about the daily struggles and joys faced by both those dealing with autism and their loved ones. A dream I have had since then is to create a camp on a farm for autistic children and help them create a bond to nature through equine therapy. I will realize this dream and it will all be in part to the experiences I have had and will have to work for this foundation.

“Look at the sky. We are not alone. The whole universe is friendly to us and conspires only to give the best to those who dream and work.” P. J. Abdul Kalam
